Need to know if 'escape' is defined in California penal or other code. I have searched but haven't found. Also, need opinion as to applicability of term 'escape' to a home detention situation where the detainee called supervisor before AND after period of absence, but was defaulted anyway and returned to custody. Offense is low-risk, non-violent (traffic - exp. license), previous conviction same offense.
