What is the name of your state? California

I've been drowning in CC debt for a long time. I've managed to pay all the minimum payments, but all that ever covered was the monthly interest. I did not want to file bankrupcy as I want to pay what I owe, yet I cannot afford to pay it all. I decided to seek the assistance of Credit Solutions of America, TX. I followed all their instructions and thus far only Household and MBNA are giving me problems. Edit - I am concerned now from reading previous posts about CitiBank as they are one of my creditor's as well.

Household used Eskano's to collect the money from me. I found out about this only after I received this summons 3 days ago. It had a postmark of Oct 18th and was filed on Sept 13th. They demanded that I pay or appear at a Case Management Conference in March 2005. I sent an email to my Client Services advisor at CSA about this matter and faxed them a copy of the summons. What are the possible outcomes of this situation? I am rather nervous about this since I cannot pay the amount demanded. It's only $1500, but that's $1500 I don't have.

Second up is MBNA. This situation is weirder. They used Wolpoff to try to collect from me though NAF. However, Wolpoff sent the notice to my ex girlfriend's parent's house. Luckily I am still on very good terms with her family and they were kind enough to give me the notice. I followed instructions give to me by CSA and sent the reply. I received another notice from Wolpoff. This time it was hand delivered by some woman. My ex's uncle clearly stated that I don't live there. She insisted that he takes it and took off. What disturbed me was how this is supposed to be issues between me and the creditor/collector, and now an ex's family is somehow involved. Not only that, the document had my SSN on it. Isn't their responsibility to contact me at my current address, which they have on file? Or will they just try to collect from me by sending notices to people I know so I would be embarassed and pay up? I owe them $2600.

Thank you in advance.
