What is the process for establishing a religion?

I did some research, but couldn't find much. However, I did find some quotes from the constitution ammendments and other law information:

The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution has two clauses that deal with religion, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion" and "or prohibiting the free exercise thereof".

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

Anybody have any more information?

The main things are to file as a 501c3 non-profit organization and to attaract followers. You can even skip the first one until later.

Q: What is the process for establishing a religion?

A: Make up some doctrines, write some books, start preaching, etc. (Read the history of any major religion for further details.)

The really good thing about starting a religion is that none of it has to make any sense.

(I will NOT give examples....) :D

**A: my opinion is to find a way to come back from the dead PRIOR to dying.
