New Jersey...My husband recently passed away..no will involved...married 15 years...Am I , as the beneficiary of insurances and such..responsible for bills such as credit cards, loans, and hospital bills that did not contain my name on them?

Yes, if YOU signed for them (such as used his credit card) and/or assumed responsibility. Even if you did not, some of those bills may be your repsonsibility as a matter of state law, but I do not know NJ law.
