wanttoquit

Nothing has been done - but my company is trying
to get me to circumvent the insurance company.
They want me to call and get a check in a lump sum
for property damage that was caused. They have
made it clear that they want to use the money that
was for damage for particular properties for other
properties that did not have damage caused by the
same natural disaster. They basically want to
use the funds designated for one thing for an entirely
different use. The funds are in the six digits!!!
My question is:
1. Is this legal?
2. What makes it insurance fraud?
3. Do I need to seek an attorney to have a legal
document to sign on my own to protect me from
being convicted of any crime?
4. Is this ethical?
5. How soon should I quit this job?
Please respond! I don't know what to do and I do not
want to be convicted of anything. What rights do I have?
Does this create a hostile work environment?
Thanks in Louisiana!
