What is the name of your state?CA
I am the remainderman of a trust UWO my great-grandfather which dissolved under the Law Against Perpetuities. The portfolio consists exclusively of stocks, several preferred, and I plan to use the dividends from this as my source of income. I am now with one of the big eight. However, I am dissatisfied and would like to stay with the house but change my personal broker. Terms like laddering seem to be unfamiliar these days. I have someone in mind, same house, same branch, upstairs. How do I proceed? How do I ask for the current broker's outline of our relationship history?
