I was pulled over today (where I live, in California) for having Euro Taillights on my 2000 Honda Civic. The cop told me they were illegal but I have read the California vehicle and find nothing to indicate this. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

They do not meet D.O.T. requirements for color or long range visibility. This is a federal, not a state regulation. You should have been warned that they may not be legal when you bought them.
