Need to evict tenants in NY. Over the past 8 months they have not paid rent on time where do I start and do I necessarily need to hire an attorney? I'm a medical student and with their not paying the rent I can't make the mortgage payment. Currently they have not paid feb or march rent. Their lease says that they owe late fees for the other 8 months they were late but I've never complained or collected it. What direction do I start in and if you think I need a lawyer please recommend one.

OH gee I live in new York City and I want to know you name when you become a doctor...

Becuase I PROMISE YOU that i will reccomend you to everyone I know, You are such a nice person who will give me great medical advice and care....

AND I WONT HAVE TO PAY YOUR BILLS BECAUSE YOU ARE SUCH A VERY VERY WEALTHY PERSON THAT YOU DONT NEED MY MONEY TO SURVIVE

I would love to have you as my doctor.

and your tenant loves you just as much as i would!
