What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TN
Tenant rented unit on month to month rental agreement with 30 day notice provision. Rent to be paid no later than 5th of month with late fee beyond that date-eviction proceedings to begin on the 16th, if still unpaid. Both Tenant and co-signer refuse to pay. Co-signer does not live in unit. If eviction is filed, should the suit be filed against both tenant and co-signer? What is the cost and requirements or documentation needed to file? Does it remain a permanent record against both tenant and co-signer, even if satisfied?
