Evicted tenant continues using address while writing bad checks

This tenant was evicted in July of 1998. At the time he was told to take this address and phone number off all of his accounts and to change it with everyone. Since then, we have received mail and phone calls, but nothing like recently. It seems he paid for Christmas with many bad checks, so we are getting 1-2 calls daily from bill collectors and one police department and today we started receiving mail from collection agencies.
Do we have any legal recourse to make this stop?
