my home was forclosed...it was sold at courthouse 3-6-01. last night 3-7-01, the new owner came to my door and told me to emediantly vacate...he has given me till 3-12-01, to find shelter, transportation there, and removeal of my possesions. he has plans to call the sherif out to pitch me on the street after the 12th. have i any recourse? is there no law to protect me from this rapid action? seems only reasonable that i should have at least 14days to pack, and make some kind of arrangements....my deed was with FMHA..last year they garnished my tax refund...im partialy disabled, and have no job or income at all. have about .7cents to my name.no car, getting food assistance from churches and neighbors...am so depressed and frightened..dont know what to do..feel like a deer frozen in headlights. please ,your rapid reply will be deeply appreciated...thank you, [email protected]

YOU have a legal right to stay in the house unless he has an eviction order signed by a Judge, then he can get the sherriff to evict you...

NO court order then he has to give you notice to move and start legal evcition proceedings IN COURT and you as an AMERICAN have a right to a fair hearing in a court of law.

If the asssshole landlord locks you out or tries to move your stuff CALL the POLICE and have him arrested.
