What is the name of your state?
California
the managment co. has followed through with their threats of eviction, meanwhile I filed an complaint with HUD for discrimination of a disabled person. My question would be does the time line of the eviction process get put on hold during the investigation of the discrimination, of which the eviction is the effect of the discrimination .
And if so do I to continue pay rent or do I just keep it in an account where I can prove the balance? How does that work, win/lose?

If you really feel you are being discriminated due to a disability, contact your local and state agencies of health and human services, which may provide a faster response and/or offer advice on other possible places to live.

HUD (and others) may want to know why you're being evicted. Nonpayment of rent may not be considered a plausible reason.

No it's not for non payment I would refer you to a previous post subject title (disabled & caregiver evicted to rerent) but in a nut shell the eviction is because the management co. wants to play god and choose caregiver for a disabled woman, bottom line they want to adjust the rent, that unit is going for almost double what the long term tenant is currently paying. They are fully aware that she cannot afford another caregiver, they have no other reason to evict they're just useing these sleezoid tactics because the are ethicly challenged leaches scaveing their existance off the lives of others.Tthe rent has never been late in 12 yrs

Not only did you start a new thread but you posting in the wrong forum. You were supposed to post eviction issues in the Landlord Tenant forum. Get with the program.

ok thanks for being so helpful
generally speaking I thought that a my original question prior to reply to bigfoot's reply was a hud/court/calendar question. Sorry it seemed like a general question. And where do you get a program, I didn't see the program guy by the gate...
