we rent out a house in sherman, texas. our renter has not paid the rent yet for the month. ther is no signed lease agreement just verbal between him and my husband. to evict him how many days do we have to give him. i had heard since he has no children we can give him 5 days others have told me it has to be 30 days to be leagal. also do we need to get the courts involved. thanks

You will lose money on this tenant then treat all the others like scum...its the way you were raised!

Sell the house...or learn how to be professional landlords and EXPECT to pay for lawyers....

I suggest that you get an attorney to get them out.

Get one that does ONLY evictions.
