What is the name of your state? New York
My parents both passed away last year. They lived in a co-op. It took a year for the will to get settled with probate court. During that time I kept paying their maintenance charges each month. I was finally able to put it up for sale in August. We have not had any buyers yet and due to financial difficulties I could not afford to pay maintenance charges any longer. I now owe for the past 4 months. It is my intention to pay whatever I owe when the apartment gets sold. Last week the realtor told me there was an eviction notice on the door. What are my options? No one lives there since my parents are deceased so there is no one to evict. The co-op knows the apartment is up for sale and is vacant.
