In the state of California when renters property is taken by a landlord after an eviction and must be held for 15 days during which time the renter can pay a reasonable fee for storage of property to landlord and reclaim it what can a renter do if landlord begins to give away and or sell the property before the 15 days have expired and is a landlord who has the property held in his or her office reasonable to charge $35 per day when the average storage fee is about $35-$40 per month.
