and now is tellin me to be out in 2 weeks to move his someone in his family in...even though he had agreed to welfare paying and me keeping up from there...am in Massachusetts...theres a zillion things he hasnt done around here in the time i have lived here...gas leak on kitchen stove...sink broken...too many to mention...can he still evict me in two weeks without going to court cuz we dont have a lease agreement? and supposedly its his family member who wants to move in? and i mean supposedly...slum lord from Massachusetts had ex cons livin here b4 me...anyway, what should i do? dont want to use welfare's emergency assistance to pay him if i have to move...will need it to pay for 1st, last, n sec. somewhere else...can he really do this even though we havent gone to court? welfare has a copy of the 14 day notice too...thanks in advance...

NOPE he has to go to court , and a date will be set, and if you are approved for welfare, and the landlord gets paid you wont be evicted.

But considering you have no lease he can give you a 30 day notice to move anyway.....so why not start looking,

An next time dont be so stupid have a lease, or dont move in, or stay after it expires
