Eviction

I am posting this for a friend who owns several "rental properties" in NY. He is up to his eyeballs with cleanup from an incident last night and asked me to look into some things for him. Yesterday, one of his apartments that is rented out was raided. The tenant (sublet) was dealing drugs. He wants to be able to re-rent the apartment immediately, upon clean up. He is not sure if he can be granted an "automatic eviction" since the tenant was busted on HIS property for serious drug charges or if he will have to go through the long, drawn out process of a "normal" eviction.

Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.
