Im from Ohio, and I have two children. My husband left me 4 months ago and is still on our lease. My landlord is taking me to court for forceable entry which I also think is for eviction, but my question is how long does the court have to give me to get out since I have children. And since he is my estranged husband will we have to split the costs of court cost and back rent??

As Long as your rent is PAID, the landlord CANNOT evict you!

You have a lease and it is good till it ends..

So If you owe the rent...... A judge doesnt care about your kids....only that YOU aint got the money

Why should a judge allow you to live in someones apartment for FREE? Start packin and putting stuff up for sale on http://www.ebay.com to raise some CASH!!!!
