I invited a younglady to live with me at my house because she was "hurting for money"..I asked her to pay $200.00 a month towards her bills etc. and I would try to help her out financially. She paid the $200.00 everynow and then.

After one(i) yr. she left.

Five(5), months later she returned, stayed for approximately a month and a half and left again.

This all happened in the Clearwater, Florida area.

The Sheriff's Dept informed that she can come and go as she pleases and my only recourse is to file an eviction notice to keep her out.

What can I do? Do I have to file an eviction notice or can iI just keep her out??

You may be unsuccesful with an "eviction notice".

What you probably want is a notice to terminate a tenancy without fixed term (usually called month-to-month). Then, after 30 days or so, her tenancy is terminated and she can't come back.

Alternatively, once she leaves for for another "sabbatical", you could declare that she has abandoned the premises, and terminate the tenancy.

But I would really suggest that you get your legal advice from someone other than the sheriff.
