ex and life insurance

What is the name of your state? CA.
Can my ex wife get life insurance on me even though I have my own? Can a person have 2 life insurances? I don't want her to cash in on my death! Does it matter who got the insurance first her or me? What about if I dont agree or if I find out she does have one, what can I do?

Depends on who the owner of the policy is. A person can have as many insurance policies as they are willing to pay for.

It is unlikely (but not impossible) for an insurer to issue a life policy without any physical exam, so it would be hard for her to to take out a policy unless you knew about it.
