What is the name of your state? WV
I am a nurse. Recently, I sued my ex in small claims court for loans I made to him. Now, he is miffed because he lost (well, I lost too, I only get 1/3 of what he owes me); Anyway, now he is calling my workplace, accusing me of stealing items, mistreating patients, and saying I am a drug addict who is stealing narcotics. I have been warned about his calls twice---and ALMOST fired (if it hadn't been for my good work ethic). He is still doing this after the judge told him not to call my work place. Can I sue him for defamation? I have tried getting a restraining order and since he hasn't threatened me physically they have refused to grant one. Any advice would be helpful.
Thank You so much!

get a restraining order against him for harassment not for physical violence. consult with an attorney about the procedure.
