Hi everyone....I'm hoping someone can help out with this. My fiancee and I live in CA. So does his ex-wife and their daughter (in a town 30 miles away). Well, the Ex never picks up the child when she is suppose to. And she is suppose to according to the court decree. She has 70% custody; he has 30%. Today, the ex was suppose to come pick the daughter up, but her excuse was that her practically brand new Acura was "broke down". Really, she is just too lazy to pick up her daughter. She asked if we could keep the daughter for the night, and take her to school the next morning. We couldn't because we hadn't made prior arrangments (remember, they lived 30 miles away, and we work). So, of course, we had to take the daughter to her house (by the way, the Acura was sitting pretty in the driveway). So, can she be held in contempt for not following the order? Thanks
