About a month ago my girlfriend and i broke up. She is now telling people I used to beat her (which is not true). Seems every person she tells her little story to comes out diff. She tells one person i beat her, the next person i just pushed her, and so on. It is very evident she is just talkin crap.

I spent 8 years in the Marines, and was wanted to go into local politics. After all this happend, set me way back. Just don't want my good name to go to hell because some whore is trying to get back at me (for nothing). Would it be worth going to court over. What all would i need to beable to prove my case?

you should have ended up in good terms. how come that she's doing this thing? did you harm her after you broke up that triggered her to do this? it's not good to hear this kind of stuff from previous partners. hope you can still settle this just by yourselves.

not sure whom really belives her. But i worked hard to build a good name. Now she is trying to ruin it. Do i have a good case or not?
