Ex is denying visitation

To anyone, (thanks ahead of time)

Ok, My ex is denying me visitation because I will not give our child a pill for adhd, I have talked with my childs doctor and she says it is not necessary that I give my child the medicine during his visits with me. The Dr also told this to my ex and my ex told this to his attorney and my ex says"it isnt right to take him off of the medicine just because you dont want to give it to him" SO he has denied all visits. My ex's attorney sent me a letter stating that if I sign a paper stating that I will give my child this medicine that I can see him and if I do not then all visitation is revoked. Can they do that?
My state is MN.

I would suggest that you take the issue before the judge and make sure you have written statements from the Dr to back yourself up. I myself disagree with kids being put on any type of mood altering drugs.

I sent all of my evidence to the judge with a letter. Well the court called me and said the Judge that sat on our case last year has retired!! Arghhhhhh....... You see, LAst year in august my ex came to pick up our son(11 days before he would have been a resident in wisconsin, 6 months) and never returned him from the visitation, I got a court order from a judge here to go pick up my son.well, the MN police said they dont have to follow WI laws and they also said that when they went to the house to talk to my ex, that my child was in a closet saying I abused him. OH brother!
I am a worried Mother and scared of my ex, I have a restraining order against him, Now he has stated to my sons doctor that Iam a diagnosed schizophrenic! So I faxed the doctor a copy of a psyc report( I went through one after being abused by this man for 10 years, I wanted to know if I was ok).Its all a big mess.
Yes I was stupid and gave my ex custody, under threat ,duress and or coersion. So now my ex is recording our phone calls and says he is doing it so that I will not fill our sons head up with crap(whatever) and his lawyer asked me to stop harrassing the dr (when the dr calls me)my ex is saying I am harrassing. and the Lawyer also stated that I am harrassing the ex's new wife(I faxed the school that my son goes to and asked them to please take her off as mother and put me back on as my sons mom, I guess to my ex that is harrassment).
Looking over records my ex has me down (to dr's and the school) that I am not an involved mother. He lies and gets away with it, but of course I have proof. What the hell do I do? I gave my ex custody because I was afraid for my son and what he would have had to go through. My ex was saying he will get my whole family involved in (i.e. searches, to see if they are fit grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.. I think my ex might be mentally ill?
