ex is moving and not informing us of their move

my boyfriend's ex is moving, we suspect that she is leaving iowa and moving to wyoming with his daughter. the ex has not informed him that she is moving. they have joint physical custody, can she move without informing him or how long of a notice would she have to give? what chance does he have to petition her move with the courts?

If they have joint custody she should be talking with him about moving, joint doesn't mean one parent has more control than the other. It is an equal agreement, althought some don't see that way. Talk to a lawyer and see what can be done.
