Ex moving children out of state w/out my approval

I know that I have posted up here before but I still have not had some questions answered.
See my ex is moving 200 miles away with our children. And I do not approve of this. I was told that she needs to give me a letter and she needs to inform the courts, well I had just taken her to court on the 5th and she never said anything to them about the move (she told me late last month about this, but I did not belive her because of all the past times she has told me she is moving to diffrent states) Now this weekend she is taking both children to look at homes. And like I said there are reasons that I do not want my children to be moved away from me. For starters she can not get them to school, last year along they missed 27 and 26 days of school. (30 is the state max) not to mention they were late 70 and 69 days (they only when to school for 1/2 days) And she treats them for illnesses they do not have. During the last court date we are both under review by a leagle gardian for the children to see who is a better fit for the children. And we do not go back to court for that for another 5 months. And she is trying to remove the children from VA by the middle of October. I am going to the courts to file for Court Ordered Visitation, but I want to know how would I go about filing for an objection for her to move? Please I need advise asap. As my time is running out. And I do not want to loose my children.

why did you not say anything yourself about the move?? you have the ability to speak up. not saying anything says you are in agreement. you need to file a motion prohibiting the move. this may be a motion you will have to draw up on your own or you may look into hiring a paralegal.

The reason I did not say anything infront of the Judge for the last court hearing for custody is because my ex said she was going to say something. Plus I was not 100% sure she was moving. She has told me several times that she is moving out of state in the last year and every time she changes the state that she is moving to, one time it is PA, than it was they were moving to GA, and than some place else and now they are moving to NC. Like I said I never took her for what she was saying before because she changes her mind too much. The only reason that I know she is going for this move is because they are buying a house. In the next few weeks.

And please if there is a form that I need to complate with the courts what type is it??? Or will a letter written to the courts from me work just as well?

check your court website for the forms, they may have one ready made. if it's not on the court website, you shoul go down to the court and ask the clerk for the forms to prevent a move-away. what it is called, i would not be able to tell you as you are not in my state.

possibly a more seasoned senior might be more knowledgable with virginia forms and may assist you.

next time, speak up. if she says she's not moving in court before the judge, it's on court record she's not moving.
