What is the name of your state? Oklahoma

Well the judge ordered us to use a parenting coordinator...2 weeks ago...and it stated to make appointment ASAP..she still hasnt called her or returned her calls..last Tuesday her attorney also told mine she hasnt made contact with him either, and her #'s have been disconnected..(home has since been reconnected) but he signed an agreement that the kids WOULD be here this weekend...and he said he would send it certified mail...well the kids didnt show..and my attorney said if they didnt and she didnt cal the PC then she would file an emergancy order...(not thinking) I didnt ask what exactly would be in this order...whats the emergancy..I mean I know the emergency..lol but what do you think she was talking about?? Do you think she was saying that she'd file for them to be placed in my custody since she has failed to follow any and all agreements and orders?? I havent been in front of the judge yet although I guess the attorneys have ..and the judge was there when her attorney said he was unable to contact her...so wouldnt you think the judge would get a clue to how she is??

Turkey, it is okay to keep the same thread. NO it is important that you do. I read this and said HUH? and had to look up every other one... KEEP IT TO THE OTHER THREAD(S) sheesh.

I didn't think this really had to do with the other threads....

Same basic subject yes..but I was wondering about her failure to cooperate with the ongoing agreements and orders....sorry.:::sheesh::::

An emergency order, if granted, would give you temporary custody of children until such time that your situation can be reviewed by a judge, via a hearing. If she is avoiding contact with the court-ordered parenting coordinator, then she is in contempt. I cannot tell you whether or not the request for an emergency order would be successful. It depends on the judge.

Thanks Stepmom...

I don't really see a point in filing the emergency order other than lighting a fire under her caboose...

I'm not try to take the kids..but tryo to get to help raise them and see them grow..thats it...if the tables were turned she'd have my butt in jail by now....I have been to nice too long..and gotten no where..I guess I'm willin to take the chance and file and see what happens....worse thing that can happen is I'll be on here again complaining about how she's refusing visits....

I havent seen the judge do anything that would make me think he's going to do something..but I have heard alot latley that he's been crackin down on moms doing this...

by the way are you in central Oklahoma??

Yes, I'm in central Oklahoma. My dh's parenting coordinator has agreed to testify at the hearing as to bm's being uncooperative. Having the parenting coordinator to back you up will greatly benefit your case.

I 'm told whatever the PC suggest the judge usually does.....I think she said she's never had him do different... we are in Pottawatomie County.
