What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Arizona

So here's the deal. 2 of my roommates moved out last week because they decided not to renew the lease while the rest of us stayed and got 2 new people to move in. All of their stuff is out, except for a couple of small, minor things that we put in the garage for them so that it would be out of the way. We have called to ask when they would be picking their stuff up and their response was, "Sometime later this week." That was fine.

However, they ended up coming by the house last night at 1 in the morning. Not only did they enter the house at 1 am without letting us know that they were coming, they brought a couple of random guys with them, one of which entered one of the bedrooms that was occupied and woke up the person that was sleeping in there. Technically they are still on the lease until the 1st of July but they are completely moved out and have a new place, and we have new people in the rooms.

Can this be considered trespassing? If a landlord has to give proper notice to enter at a reasonable time, shouldn't they have to as well since they don't live here anymore? I guess it wouldn't be AS BIG of a deal if they were actually people that we trust but they aren't, and we are not comfortable with them bringing other people over that we do not know in the middle of the night.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Call your LL and ask if it's ok to change the locks and provide him/her/them with set(s) of keys .

You should most like wait until July 1st , so as not to be sued .

Why don't you ask for their keys ?

Buy door jams .
