My ex and I both live in Mississippi. He has temporary custody of our 16 year old daughter. I just found out that he gave consent for her to get married. They went to Las Vegas, where only one parent has to sign and she got married. They have been married for a few months. I just found out when we went to court because I was trying to get visitation rights and now they tell me that she is married and I have no rights. I am furious. Is there anything that I can do about it? Can I have him charged with any type of crime? I can't prove it but I know that he talked her into this to keep me from getting custody or visitation. Please advise me as to my civil and criminal options. Can I have the marriage annulled or ruled invalid becasue they did not follow Mississippi law? What about the fact that he only had temporary custody? Thank you.

did he have temporary legal or temporary physical? if it was just physical you might have the option of filing for contempt of court for him not consulting you on a major decision regarding your daughter.
