My father's ex-wife is wanting his birth certificate, death certificate, and military discharge papers. Am I under any legal obligation to give them to her? What could she possibly do with them? I live in Texas. Thanks for any help I can get.

If you do not want to give them to her willingly then don't. If she wants/needs them that bad let her go to court to have them request them from you. I don't think you *have* to turn them over to her without a legal/court order. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Good luck!
