ex won't sell

I am getting married next month to a man who owns a house with an ex-girlfriend. She refuses to sell and won't sign off if we refinance. She wants to refinance and makes us pay half the cost to remove his name. Is there anything we can do to make her sell? Can you suggest any other options? Thank You.
