In November I sustained a fire in my residence causing close to 1million in damages. The fire chief ruled the fire accidental and has been very sympathetic to my family since the fire. For some reason the insurance Co's approach to this is very much the opposite. Now 7 months later after a full blown cause an origin investigation,an examination under oath and going door to door to all of my neighbors with questions ,have nothing more than what the fire chief's ruled from day one an accidental fire.I also know "of the record"their own attorney's recommendation from the exam under oath, and their adjuster's along with a report from his boss was to go forward and pay the claim! At this point the insurance Co is ignoring calls from my adjuster and the mortgage Co! How much longer should I wait to go forward with a bad faith lawsuit?I just want to have this over with to have my family back into a normal situation the last thing I want is to drag this through court. What are my options?
