What is the name of your state? CA. We have several Executive Exempt employees who drive daily, from site to site, approximately 10 hours per month or less. In addition to their monthly salary, do they need to be compensated for drive time, or can this "time worked" be considered part of their salary?

Exempt employees need not EVER be provided any compensation beyond their regular salary. Period. If these individuals are driving their own vehicles on company business, it is a customary practice to provide them a mileage reimbursement but in my experience, it would be quite uncommon to provide them any additional money for the time spent travelling. Ten hours a month? That's nothing.
