What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? new york
I am the Executor to my father's estate. He's Will is complicated as it is without my youngest brother having an ego crisis. He wants to force himself as the Executor and has some people believing that he is. I believe he also wants to claim the Executor fee by doing this. My father didn't leave behind enough liquid assets to pay off everything and I will have to sell some other assets to keep everyone as happy as possible. But this bozo who is going to inherit a vacation propery has convinced everyone assoicated with it not to talk to me! What is my legal recourse here?

**A: would you like to sue and force him to talk to you? What's up with that?

Presumably, you have the letters testamentary (or whatever they may be called in NY) proving that you have been appointed to administer the estate. Flash them in front of anybody questioning your authority to act on behalf of the estate.

Yes, I have the court Letters of Testamentary but that hasn't stopped Jr. from trying to get the title deed transfered to him without my help. All this has caused delays. Is there a cease order I can get. It's gotten out of hand.

**A: you need to file an action in probate court.
