What is the name of your state? California

I have an employee refusing to submit 6 hours of sick time claiming that as an exempt employee, per CA law, she only has to claim sick time if she is out for the whole day. Note we did not ask her to come in. I am trying to find a labor code or regulation number, something that is proof positive.

thanks.

Really? That's your legal advice? Make her do it? She's clearly not interested in cooperating, that's evident from my original question.

She's the one who says there's a law prohibiting you from docking her sick time; she should be able to show it to you. If she's not interested in doing so, then her time gets docked. The ball is in her court.

HER law; HER responsibility.
