i signed a pre-printed contract in mesquite, tx, with a landlord for 2 years which ends 4/1/01. in the contract it states that the sign that i paid for, @ $989, stays as the landlord's property when i leave. the sign is easily removeable, and will not detract from the property after removal. i want to take this sign to my new location. i want to know that i'm not being unreasonable to; 1.) either demand the sign for removal, or 2.)ask to be reimbursed for the price of the sign if the landlord insists that it stay. i remain in good graces with the landlord, and owe no rent, etc.
