Are expenses for extracurricular activities usually considered covered by child support orders, or are these costs to be divided between the parents above and beyond support?

Our past orders provided for one activity for each child with expenses to be divided between the parents in addition to support. Our current order does not specify how activities are to be handled.

What is typical or considered appropriate in your experience?

Unless the order specifies that the expense should be split, whoever decides the child should participate, pays the bill.
