What is the name of your state?
OH
I posted under civil too, but hoping you guys can help too.

A general docket civil case, involves equitable distribution, but assets had been liquidated by def.

Order states:
1. Def. Preliminary Obj. to Plain. Complaint overruled.
2. Def. is to answer in 30 days.
3. Matter to thereafter go to Family Divsion.

I'm guessing line 1 is good for plaintiff, but line 3 is bad if punitive damages were being sought. Can family division award punitive damages?
