Texas - I acquired a boat motor and later decided not to use it in my boat. I bought the unit "as is" and was informed that "it was running when it was removed from the boat". I later consigned the motor to the boat storage yard where my boat is stored and informed them that "the unit was running when it was removed from the boat". I did not imply or express any warranty for the unit. It was consigned as a used boat motor. The boat yard sold and installed the motor. After the unit was installed, the boat yard cranked it up and found that it had forced water into the crankcase due to a leaking head gasket. The yard owner
has requested that I pay for all repairs to the unit, totalling ~$440.00.

My question is under the law, do I have any liability for
payment of the repairs?
