Can a young woman who was charged with Felony DUI in SC and plead guilty get an exspongment after serving her time and how does she go about doing this? She received six and one half years with no chance for parole. She was in college at the time of her crime studying criminal justice which she continues to study through mail correspondence courses. While driving drunk she hit a car head on and killed a man. She tutors inmates inside to help them get their GED. This is her assigned job. There is a program for inmates to go to schools and speak publicly about prison and the mistakes prisoners have made in their lives. She is trying to get in this program. Any advise will be appreciated.
