extra cost livibg expenses

Hello, I would like to know if I can get advise on my situation.

The adjuster that came to my house and check everything is now telling me that our insurance company wont pay for the the expenses of hotel and food, while our house is being repair, we cant use the bathroom and the kitchen the house has no water because of the damaged.

The insurance company is saying that we are not covered, im pretty confused my agent never asked if we wanted this coverage or not.

Is there anything I can do??

Ummm, you'll need to start with the basics. What was the damage caused by, that you aren't covered by homeowner's insurance?

If you aren't covered, then loss of use doesn't apply.
