The extreme cruelty reason for divorce does not have to be extreme or cruel. There is no "no-fault" or "irreconcilable differences" reasons for divorce in New Jersey.

You can put just about any reason in the filing for divorce with extreme cruelty, you could even put in the reason as she burned the toast at breakfast. The judge does not care, if you want to get divorced, he can not stop you.

Good-luck
