i have the charge of battery in the state of indiana, but moved out of state before i went to court, i now have a bench warrent on me.i want to move back to indiana. what should i do turn myself in, and what are laws on this.

My response:

Call a criminal attorney in your home State. See if that attorney (for a fee, of course) will negotiate terms of your surrender with the District Attorney's Office. Perhaps, a plea bargain can be arranged in exchange for your surrender.
