I live in CA but own a house in VA that I rent to a tenant. Last week a large wind storm blew a tree on my property on my neighbors house causing damage to the vinyel siding (8 to 10 strips). My homeowners insurance has lapsed and I need to know my libility. I get near nothing for rent so I need some advice & help!!!.

Thanks, & happy new year... Big Al

I agree pay the damages yourself! Why oh why don't people keep their insurance??????? Pay your premiums and you would never had to worry again about this problem.
