Can anyone help? My neighbours dead tree was blown over into my yard. Nothing was damaged. Who's responsibility is it to remove the tree. Most of the tree is in my yard, but the base and roots are still on his side of the boundary line. I am in the state of Washington.

Thanks so much for any ideas......

If a storm blew the tree over, you clean up what is in your yard. You might could fight it out if the tree was dead and the owner should have know it was in danger of falling but it wouldn't be worth it. No point in making an enemy next door because of a fallen tree with no damage.
