Fallen Trees
What is the name of your state? Frederick, Maryland
I Don't know when the 3 trees fell exactly, however, when we discovered it there were 3 trees fallen onto our property, and chain-saw marks at the property line (from the previous tree-owner). All roots and bases of trees are missing. We don't "know" these neighbors, although "she" is a lawyer and married to a "house-husband"....who keeps their property immaculate! My question is...Who is responsible for removal expenses of "our newly acquired lumber" and what's the best way to "make contact" about this issue? She could run-up our lawyer expenses extremely quickly (since there's no charge for "her" advice)...and we don't know their names.
They've previously "dumped" brush onto our "Environmentally protected property" and when we discovered it, my husband promptly "displayed" the appropriate signage...and then "the sign" disappeared. A couple months later my husband approached the "house-husband" and slightly discussed the matter. I am told....it was taken care of, and he cleaned out his "debris".
These particular 3 new trees did not fall into the "Environmentally Protected Area". I didn't know what would be the appropriate (courteous) fashion to attempt to deal with this "issue". Please advise...HELP!
