For New years eve, five of us attended a dinner mystery at Good Times Restaurant in Ballston Lake, New York. Two newspapers advertised for the dinner to be $30 a person for that night. I arranged reservations over the phone and I agreed to pay $150. for everyone. On New Years Eve, they gave me my receipt that was signed by them and my credit card was charged $375. I questioned it to the waitress and she said the manager was not in. I called the next day to speak to Desirree the manager about the overcharging and forgery of my name. She said we were not overcharged. Each ticket was $75.00 and that she did not have to honor anything that was put in the newspaper because she was not responsible for that information. Well I called the newspaper to find out who was responsible. I spoke to the editor and she said that was what the restaurant had sent the information that the tickets were $30 each for New Years eve. Now what do I do? I called the credit card company and they are sending me a form, I emailed the businesss bureau. Does the Good times Restaurant have to honor their advertisement?Thank You.
