We have found a house on the internet in NC that has been advertised for $4000. total price. We have called the real estate agent listed about this property, and were told that it was not $4000., but $164,000. that they didn't list it for that price, maybe the owner did. They said they would contact the owner to see what was going on and get back to us Monday. They never did. I have sent 2 e-mails inquiring about the price, no reply. Called again yesterday, when I noticed that the price still hadn't been changed, and let them know that I would send out the $4000. for the house as it is advertised. Can we hold them to this price? What's the next step? Thanks!

Forget it. You're not buying a first aid kit from eBay. First of all, this is real estate and the laws are different as compared to buying personal property. In addition, you do not even have a contract and fully realize that the price is erroneous.
