Live in California....arrested in New Jersey.

Hertz at Newark airport reported my rental vehicle stolen. As I was heading back to the airport, the local police stopped me and arrested me at gunpoint, hand cuffed me and took me to the station.

I had all the correct paperwork and was able to prove to the police the mistake had been made by Hertz.

Do I have a case against Hertz?
