I received a letter from an ajoining property's insuance co demanding to be compensated for damages I caused. I have not caused any property damage. What should I do?

send them a letter telling them you have caused no damages and as such, will not be paying their demand. Either that or ignore them and wait to see if they sue you.

have they stated what damages you are supposed to have caused? Is there some reason they might believe you did cause the damages?

You can also forward the information to your homeowner's insurance company. Open a claim and send them the information.

The property owner makes up things. I never did any property damage. I gave it to my agent today waiting for response. Do not understand why co would pay with no legal charges or investigation.

The company will not pay if they determine that you are not liable for the damage. They will DEFEND you against baseless claims, that is their job. They will pay if they determine that a court would be likely to find you liable.
